COLORADO RIVER RAFTING

The Colorado River is known around the world as a premier river for whitewater rafting adventures.  The headwaters of this mighty 1400 mile river begin with “Gore Canyon” near Granby, CO.  Whitewater rafting through 90 miles of Class II-V+ rapids on the Colorado River’s Little Gore Canyon offers everything from calm family rafting to adrenaline pumping white water.

The headwaters to the Colorado River lie deep within the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park near Longs Peak and Estes Park and start in the fast-paced class V+ rapids of Gore Canyon.  Dvorak Expedition offers many rafting options down river through the calmer Class II & III rapids for those that prefer mellow outings.

The Colorado River exemplifies the rich history that lies in the Rocky Mountains and our rafting trips offer the best views on the Colorado River. Colorado River rafting trips are a thrilling experience that will provide an unexpected twist to any camping trip out in beautiful Colorado.

The Colorado River is one of the West’s major rivers, providing the drainage system for half of the continental United States over its 1,400-mile length. The upper sections offer trout fishing for those looking for a Colorado Float Fishing Trip (Colorado fishing license is required).

For an added experience, rent a Stand Up Paddleboard for use on calmer sections of the river.
