WINTER SUPING

You and your partner are avid SUPers and miss those summer days on the water. Don’t let the season get you down! Grab your SUP and head to one of the many lakes that don’t freeze over. HOT SPRINGS

Soaking in nature’s hot tub is the ultimate way to relax in the outdoors. Soak up the natural minerals and rejuvenate your body. Colorado has many options, including Mount Princeton Hot Springs and Cottonwood Hot Springs just a few minutes away from Salida.

SNOWMOBILING

Not familiar with the Salida area? Take a tour via a snowmobile! It’s a fun way of exploring the mountains for the day. Tour the historic town of Saint Elmo or explore Monarch Pass. Either way, you’re in for an amazing day.

SKI TOURING

If you and your date are avid backcountry skiers, you should definitely check out the amazing backcountry skiing Monarch Pass has to offer. Be aware, this is not for novice skiers.  You should have advanced skiing abilities, knowledge of avalanche safety, and avalanche safety equipment. If that describes you and your partner, then head out! You will love a day skiing on Monarch Pass.
