The Power and Glory – A Piece of History!

The Power and the Glory poster shows Crystal Rapid in the Grand Canyon flowing at 90,000 CFS in July 1983. This section of the Colorado River had not seen flows like this since the completion of Glen Canyon Dam in 1963. With Climate Change and over-appropriation of water resources throughout the entire river system, such flows may never be seen again.

If you would like to add this poster to your collection,
keep reading and protect our rivers in the process.

Colorado Headwaters is dedicated to protecting the Colorado River and many other headwaters rivers at their source. Anyone making a tax-deductible donation of $20 or more to Colorado Headwaters will receive a copy of the ‘Power and Glory’ poster as our way of saying “Thanks”.  After expenses, mainly postage, all proceeds from donations will go to support our efforts to protect our vital headwaters.

The poster is 24” x 18”, and payment is accepted via credit/debit card through PayPal on our website  www.coloradoheadwaters.org  or by check made out to:
