Will Ferrell and Robert Redford Want to Protect the Colorado River

Help the Colorado River reach its final destination

The Colorado River starts in Rocky Mountains and doesn’t let up until it reaches the Seas of Cortez in Mexico. At least, that is what is supposed to happen. Unfortunately, the 30 million people who rely on water from the Colorado River have drained it of its water before it reaches the Sea of Cortez. The Colorado River is in desperate need of conservation.

Over 30 million people rely on the Colorado river for their livelihood. Help conserve the river.

30 Million People Depend on the Colorado River

The entire Southwest depends on the Colorado River. We need the river’s water to grow our crops and to water our lawns. We need it to quench our thirst as well as generate hydroelectric power. We use these waters out of necessity to sustain our livelihood, as well as recreational and spiritual purposes. Plus, the Colorado River is also home to a whole ecosystem of plants and animals that are threatened everyday by people using up the waters of the river. At Dvorak, we use the Colorado river to feed our souls and get wild on the river, and we support a number of conservation efforts to help protect and preserve, not just the Colorado River, but all the rivers.River icon
