more photos

90 miles – Class II-V+ The Colorado River, sixth largest of all 135 U.S. rivers, travels through 7 states for over 1400 miles with Colorado snowfalls feeding over 75% of this river’s flows. The headwaters of the Colorado River lie deep within the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park near Longs Peak and Estes Park, Colorado and get off to a rollicking start in Gore Canyon, one of the last sections to be run with Rob Wise’s first raft descent in 1977. Choose from many locations that offer excellent Colorado River white water rafting!
